Through this lively and interactive demo cooking class, Sheri will share five delicious appetizer recipes that you can recreate for a cocktail party or add to your own go-to array of favorites. She'll also stir up a batch cocktail that's quicker and easier than stocking and tending a bar. Beyond sharing the recipes, Sheri and Colleen (Andiamo Owner and Creative director) will show you creative ways to serve and display your delicious bites, ensuring that your next party spread will look like it came out a a magazine and tastes better than ever.

Come meet Sheri Castle, host of The Key Ingredient, an Emmy-winning cooking show from PBS NC. She’s also an award-winning food writer, recipe developer, cooking teacher, and storyteller. Sheri will be sharing stories and signing her cookbooks at the Gallery by Andiamo!

You don't need to be able to chop at chef speeds to cook well, but learning how to use knives to their best effect in the kitchen will make your cooking more effective and more enjoyable.

This half-day course will show you how to select, use and maintain the correct knife from the basic cooks knife set

At the end of this Andiamo Experience you will have a good understanding of how to best use your knives in the kitchen and a wonderful meal to follow.

Jimmy Proffitt, of The Appalachian Tale, will present a Biscuit Blowout Class Sunday morning. Each student will get a hands-on experience as we make a variety of biscuits, which we will all enjoy fresh and hot from the oven. Lodge Cast Iron has generously provided a cast iron skillet for each student to take home, and Jimmy will be providing the recipes.

Hans Rueffert is a chef, father, and gastric cancer survivor and advocate who will be teaching an incredible workshop at the lodge this October. At the “Eat Like There’s No Tomorrow” workshop, Hans will be teaching us healthy habits - nourishing our body from the inside out through food.

We started Gardenuity to change the way people garden successfully at home, to invite everyone to give gardening a try. Our gardens and matching technology have set the standard for the industry and inspired a whole new group of garden enthusiasts.

Chef Jason Palin has cooked around the world - working as a head chef at leading luxury resorts and as a private chef to A-list names. His style is fusion of worldwide flavours. Andiamo will be hosting cooking classes and supper club dinners with Chef Palin. Reach out to book private dinners.

Vicki Lee lives and paints in New Orleans, Louisiana. After retiring from a career in accounting, she studied art and painting at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. In 2009, she discovered the medium of beeswax, and proceeded to learn the intricacies of working as an encaustic artist. Encaustic means to "burn with heat" and most of her work includes beeswax or wax crayons that are manipulated by heat from a blow torch, heat gun or hot plate.

Sean of the South is coming to Andiamo Lodge on May 14th.

Using wax pastel crayons, rice paper and a hotplate, you will create a series of encaustic monoprints on paper, ready to frame.
